New committee seeks a "Better Argyle"
October 15, 2008

Argyle, NY – Committee for a Better Argyle ("Better Argyle") was launched today as a bi-partisan political action committee made up of community, business, and political leaders in the town of Argyle, New York.  Better Argyle strives to create and support sound policy that limits taxes and creates economic progress for the benefit of taxpayers and residents.  The organization plans to debut more initiatives over the next few months, including ones related to political education and community involvement.

Better Argyle is founded and co-chaired by Kelly S. Eustis and Kameron Spaulding.  They believe there is no place for politics when it comes to inflating costs and rising assessments being experienced by Argyle's families.

"People are tired of partisan politics overtaking doing what is right for the taxpayers," said Eustis.  "It looks promising for the future of Argyle that two young and enthusiastic political leaders from both parties have decided to work together to come up with positive solutions for our town.  We will stand behind issues and candidates that we believe will serve the people best and we plan to be an influential force in shaping the future of Argyle politics."

Kelly S. Eustis, a 21-year-old Republican, serves as Executive Director for Better Argyle.  Eustis has experience in business and politics ranging back to his early teen years.  He is currently chairman of the Argyle Republican Committee and was a candidate for councilman on the Argyle Town Board in 2007.  As President and CEO of Eusatrix Corporation, a public relations and political consulting firm, Eustis is involved with campaigns, political committees, and non-profits all over the United States.

Kameron Spaulding, a 20-year-old Democrat, serves as Policy Director for Better Argyle.  Spaulding is a college student at Rhode Island College, member of the Argyle Democratic Committee, and was founder of the Washington County Young Democrats.

"In small towns like Argyle there are issues that unite us far deeper than any party line can separate us," said Spaulding.  "In these tough economic times we need to support leaders that will work across part lines to support the changes we need."

The committee's website, BetterArgyle.com, is powered by Eusatrix and serves as the main portal for the organization.  Better Argyle is reaching out on social networking sites like Facebook and utilizing mail and emails lists to communicate to Argyle residents.
